At the Amber Venue, we offer competitive rates for both half-day and full-day corporate events. Pricing ranges between R480 and R680 per delegate
We provide a range of layout options for corporate events, ensuring that your needs are addressed and that you successfully achieve your event goals.
Included in pricing per delegate
- Venue hire for 4 hours (half day) or 8 hours (full day)
- 20 x gloss rectangular tables
- 200 clear ghost chairs
- Mid-morning tea and coffee
- Bottled water on tables
- Lunch (Main course & Dessert)
- Soft drinks, served with lunch
Option 1 - Theatre
This is the most common layout for conferences. It consists of chairs set out in rows, all facing the same direction. These rows are usually straight but can be curved so that all audience members are facing the speaker. The Theatre style set up does not include tables or other furniture.
This is perfect for large groups whose conferencing involves teaching and seminars.

Option 2 - Cabaret
The Cabaret arrangement is a popular seating style for conferences and it consists of large round / regtangular tables with chairs around the outside facing the front. One side of the table is left empty so that chairs don’t have their backs to the front. This seating style is commonly used for entertainment such as quizzes, awards etc.

Option 3 - U-Shape
As the name states, this layout is chairs set in a U-shape with the gap in the U facing the front. This allows for everyone to see each other and the speaker.
During conferences, you may have a U-shape layout with tables or even a double U-shape which is simply adding an extra row. This seating style adds a level of intimacy and is quite often used for more interactive sessions.

Option 4 - Banquet
The Banquet layout is comprised of large round / regtangulart tables with chairs around them. Unlike the Cabaret style, a Banquet seating style has chairs around the entire table. This arrangement is perfect for award ceremonies, gala dinners etc.

The Ethereal Function Hall boasts up to 29 meters of ocean view due to the stackable glass doors that can be opened fully to allow fresh ocean air into the hall. Made up of mostly glass, the hall boasts the ocean as its backdrop. The high ceilings give a feeling of grandeur and allow for a multitude of suspended features to make your wedding day both memorable and unique.
The Ethereal Function Hall includes the use of our 130 square meter covered patio, allowing guests to enjoy the outdoors regardless of the weather conditions. Our bar and lounge area, that overlook the dam have been purposely designed and positioned so as to not disturb the reception hall aesthetics & celebrations.
Our professionally designed kitchen led by a qualified chef promises to deliver a fine dining experience fit to rival the best in the market. The waiter to guest ratio has been carefully considered to provide a world class and seamless culinary experience. A backup generator is provided to ensure no disruptions to your special day.

Guests can enjoy a large scenic ocean & flora backdrop due to its glass design that open up to views of the Indian Ocean. The Infinity Chapel is a roofed structure with stackable glass doors. As such, your day is sure to be uninterrupted irrespective of the weather conditions of the day.
